LebanonPostcard presents the book Lebanon in Photo3D with RC Glasses by Sam Ramadan – Hardcover book, closed 41×24.5 cm, 280 pages

For the first time in history, Lebanon is captured and documented in Photo3-DTM, Lebanese-American artist and inventor Sam Ramadan spent five months touring and photographing Lebanon in eye-popping realistic Photo3-D. “you will feel as if you’ve actually visited the sites when going thru the pages of this book, and later when you visit the sites for real, and you should, you will have an eerie deja-vu, your brain stores an experience instead of a photograph”, said Sam Ramadan, Chairman and Founder, MISSION3-DTM, USA.

A 3-D photograph requires two views for each scene, a Left and a Right view to represent each eye. To capture reality, existing 2-D photographs could not be used. In addition, the Lebanon scenes in this book were selected for maximum depth effects. Several Photo3-D images were captured in hyper stereo, a technique that allows you to see thru the eyes of a giant person, 75 meters tall. Ramadan, is recognized as one of the leading authorities on 3-D photography in the USA. All of the Photo3-D images in this book were created using a single 4 megapixel digital camera and the Photo3-D 303 Kit from Mission3-D, LLC.

Ramadan invented Photo3-D and filed for several international patents. He founded Mission3-D LLC, USA and launched the first ever Photo3-D Kit in the world on August 25, 2003.

Photo3-D grabbed international press attention and was named TIME Magazine Gadget of the Week. Photo3-D also won PC-Photo Editor’s Choice. Popular Mechanics called it the best product on the market for creating 3-D photographs, and was covered by CNN, ABC News, Shutterbug, Nature Photographer, The Boston Globe, Tech TV, Business 2.0, Digital Photography, N.Y. TV-1, U.S. News and World Report, France’s Digital Photo Magazine, Germany’s CT Magazine, IT News, USA Today, South China Morning Post and numerous local and international newspapers and magazines.

By the time this book was published, Photo3-D was also featured in Lebanon by FUTURE TV’s Aalam Al-Sabah, LBC’s Nharkum Saïd, MBC, TELE LIBAN, ORBIT’s Aeyoon Beirut, CHOC! Magazine, Al-Safir and Al-Tamaddun newspapers.
