يطيب لمطرانية قبرس المارونية ولي شخصيا أن أفرح و أسر بتقديم الجزء الثاني من كتاب «الأيقونات المارونية» التي تصدر عن «المرسم الخاص » العامل بإشرافنا في مطرانية قبرس المارونية في نيقوسيا .
يتضمن هذا الجزء مجموعة الأيقونات لأشهر القديسين المكرمين في كنيستنا المارونية.
يحتوي القسم الأول من الكتاب على عشر أيقونات لأولياء وأنبياء العهد القديم وللملائكة والقديسين الذين هيأوا لمجيء الرب يسوع المسيح .
ويحتوي القسم الثاني على مجموعة من الأيقونات للإنجيليين والرسل وقديسي الكنيسة الأولى .
والقسم الثالث يختص بأيقونات القديسين الموارنة أو المكرمين في الكنيسة المارونية .
أما القسم الرابع فيقدم نسخة فنية عن أهم منمنمات إنجيل ربولا الذي يرقى إلى سنة 586.
تحتفظ الكنيسة المارونية في قبرس بهذه الأيقونات باعتزاز وفخر، وإذ تكرمها ، تتبرك بها، تحصل على شفاعتها وتتمنى أن ينتشر تكريم الأيقونات مجددا في كل الكنائس المارونية، ولا سيما أننا في مرحلة تجدد ليتورجي وكنسي وفني، وأن للإيقونة دورا هاما في التجدد الروحاني الفردي والجماعي.

The Maronite Archbishopric of Cyprus is particularly pleased to present The Maronite Icons: Saints of the Maronite Church, which constitutes the second volume of Maronite icons that have been painted in the St. Ephrem Studio of the Maronite Archbishopric in Nicosia, Cyprus.
Containing a collection of icons that illustrate the most revered saints in our Maronite Church, the volume is composed of four parts:
Part One presents icons depicting the Old Testament prophets, angels, and saints who prepared for the coming of the Messiah.
Part Two presents icons portraying evangelists, apostles, and saints of the First Church.
Part Three is dedicated to the icons of the most venerated saints in the Maronite Church.
Part Four consists of an artistic reproduction of the most important miniatures of the Rabbula Gospel.
In publishing this book, the Maronite Church in Cyprus, which has been safeguarding and venerating the icons and is continually blessed by them, wishes to spread the opportunity for their veneration to all Maronites everywhere, especially during this era of liturgical, ecclesiastical, and artistic revival. Today, more than ever, the icon can play an important role in the collective and individual renewal of the human spirit worldwide.

All prices include shipping and handling. LebanonPostcard will be responsible for sending the packages you order, at your charge, through the service D.H.L. / E.M.S. with tracking number code guaranteeing reception of the package.
We ship as soon as possible, but within maximum 4 days after the order is received.
Credit cards are not charged until we actually ship the items. The items may take between one and six days to arrive, according to the country they are sent to.
Packages are sent with track code to guarantee reception, and delay is rare. In the event of non-delivery or delay, nothing can be done for 7 days. At the end of this period, on our being informed, a demand will be made for the package to be traced. If 14 days after the first dispatch there is still no delivery, a second package will be sent free.
Packages inside Lebanon are sent registered through LibanPost to guarantee reception, and delay or non-delivery is rare. In the event of non-delivery, nothing can be done for 6 days. At the end of this period, on our being informed, a demand will be made to LibanPost for the package to be traced. If 12 days after the first dispatch there is still no delivery, a second package will be sent free.
