LebanonPostcard and Cadmus Project present postcards collection from selected drawings submitted to the “Peace Cards from Lebanon 2005” on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the end of World War II.
Each of the 20 postcards of this collection depicts a peace card drawn by a Lebanese student coming from 20 schools all over Lebanon.
These postcards are reproduced on paper of high quality (300 gr) with a glossy surface.
Each postcard is presented in one format of 12.7 x 16.4 cm; the illustration is presented on one side and information about the artwork with space for correspondence on the other. The postcards are sold in packages of a set.
The cards are thus one of the best souvenir gifts you can have from Lebanon and they carry a message of peace from Lebanese children to the world.
The objective of the postcards:
To remind the whole world of the disaster caused to humanity by World War II.
To invite world leaders/government officials to resolve crises through peaceful means.
To encourage the Lebanese students to follow up on important issues regarding their country, as well as the rest of the world.
To allow the Lebanese students to express their ultimate will in keeping their country away from political violence and war.
To pressure the adults to take responsibility concerning world peace.
LebanonPostcard will be responsible for sending the cards you order, through fast courier with a tracking number, guaranteeing reception of the package. The greeting cards may take between two and five days to arrive, according to the country it is sent to.
