Black granite pebbles from the Byblos shore, carved by a craftsman to recreate the ancient “tear flasks” used to store precious tears, serving also as recipients for kohl, dark carbonized cosmetic powder with which the peoples of history imparted beauty and health to their eyes. Nostalgic and graceful little flasks which recall the brilliant days of the Phoenician past.

Des galets de granite noir cherchés sur la côte de Byblos et sculptés par un artisan artiste qui eut l’idée de réaliser des “Lacrymaux” pour recueillir les larmes précieuses… et des récipients de “Kohl”, ce fard carbonisé noirâtre qui embellit et soigne les yeux. De petits vases très agréables et nostalgiques qui rappellent nos aïeux Phéniciens.)
