Note introductive

Introductory note
“Lebanon through its stamps”, which is published today, is a complete review of stamps issued by Lebanon on the occasion of important local, regional or international events. If only important foreign events are commemorated, Lebanon has celebrated the important stages of its political and institutional life and great cultural and social moments, its scientists, writers and artists… This is why the document that we deliver today to the public may be considered as a sort of Annals of modern Lebanon, spread over more than fifty years.
