يقدم هذا الكتاب ذاكرة موثقة عن حياة واعمال ثلاثة فنانين رواد من المؤسسين الأوائل لنهضة الفن التشكيلي في لبنان هم: داود القرم وحبيب سرور وخليل الصليبي. يتناول مختلف التحولات الفنية التي طرأت على اساليبهم، بدءاً من الكلاسيكية النهضـويـة مروراً بالرومنسية الاستشراقية والكلاسيكية – المحدثة وصولاً إلى ضفاف الانطباعية في حقبة تمتد ما بين ١٨٧٠ و١٩٣٨. إذ يكشف النقاب للمرة الأولى عن نتاجات غير معروفة لهؤلاء الرواد، جمعت من 140 مجموعة خاصة وعامة. يشكل الكتاب خطوة في الحفاظ على التراث التشكيلي اللبناني بوجهيه الديني والمدني.
Abstract
This book provides a documented memory of the life and works of three pioneering artists (Daoud EL-CORM, Habib SROUR, and Khalil SLAYBI) considered to
be among the founders of the plastic art renaissance in Lebanon. It tackles the different artistic developments that occurred to their styles beginning with renaissance classicism to orientalised romanticism and modern classicism, up to impressionism from 1870 to 1938. This book unveils, for the first time, unknown
works by these pioneers, gathered from 140 private and public collections. It is a step towards the preservation of the Lebanese plastic heritage in its religious and civil dimensions.
Résumé
Ce livre se présente comme un recueil documenté sur la vie et les œuvres de trois artistes pionniers (Daoud El-CORM, Habib SROUR et Khalil SALIBY) considérés parmi les promoteurs de la renaissance de l’art plastique au Liban. Le livre traite les diverses mutations artistiques survenues à leurs styles, commençant par le classicisme de la renaissance, passant par le romantisme orientalisé et le néo-classicisme pour atteindre les abords de l’impressionnisme, dans une période qui s’étend de 1870 à 1938. Il montre, pour la première fois, des productions non connues réalisées par ces pionniers et recueillies à partir de 140 collections privées et publiques. Ce livre constitue un pas dans la préservation du patrimoine de l’art plastique libanais dans ces deux dimensions: religieuse et civile.

We ship as soon as possible, but within maximum 4 days after the order is received.
Credit cards are not charged until we actually ship the items. The items may take between one and six days to arrive, according to the country they are sent to.
Packages are sent with track code to guarantee reception, and delay is rare. In the event of non-delivery or delay, nothing can be done for 7 days. At the end of this period, on our being informed, a demand will be made for the package to be traced. If 14 days after the first dispatch there is still no delivery, a second package will be sent free.
Packages inside Lebanon are sent registered through LibanPost to guarantee reception, and delay or non-delivery is rare. In the event of non-delivery, nothing can be done for 6 days. At the end of this period, on our being informed, a demand will be made to LibanPost for the package to be traced. If 12 days after the first dispatch there is still no delivery, a second package will be sent free.
