Le nouveau volume des Images du Patrimoine ne deçoit pas après le premier. La richesse et l’abondance des images sont stupéfiantes et infiniment variées. Pour prouver aux libanais que leur pays peut se flatter d’un étonnant patrimoine, il réalise une très belle démonstration. Et j’y ai revu des sites que j’ai vu autrefois ou récemment: cela donne envie de les revoir de nouveau.
The latest volume of Pictures of our Heritage is by no means inferior to the first. The richness and quantity of the pictures are astounding and of great variety. This is a great work which shows the Lebanese people that their country boasts an astonishing history. I have re-discovered many sites which I had seen in the past but this work gives me a great desire to see them once again.
إن الجزء الثاني من “صور من التراث” لا يقل أهمية عن الجزء الأول. فالمصادر التي ينطويها بغناها ووفرتها وتنوعها الكبير… إنه برهان جميل جداً يحمل اللبنانيين على الإعتزاز بتراثهم العجيب لقد رأيت فيه مواقع كنت رأيتها في الماضي البعيد أو القريب. ورغبت في أن أراها من جديد.
Merci à Richard Chahine qui est l’âme de cette recherche continue du patrimoine, notre identité commune écrite dans la pierre et dans ces merveilleux monuments qu’il nous fait voir.

Poursuivant ses recherches inlassables dans les domaines de l’art et de la science, il perpétue, en plein XXe siècle, les traditions des vénérables Bénédictins. C’est une fierté pour le Liban et l’accomplissement de ce chef-d’œuvre en pleine crise libanaise est une manière on ne peut plus digne et louable de faire un acte de foi dans la pérennité du pays des Cèdres. Mr Richard Chahine, whom I have the pleasure and the privilege to have known for several years, has produced many, absolutely “wonderful” works. He has energetically carried out his research in the fields of art and science in a manner which, towards the end of the twentieth century, recalls the traditions of the Benedictines of old. Lebanon should be proud of this work; its achievement against the backdrop of the crisis which plagued our country is the most patriotic act of faith in the continuing survival of this land of the Cedar tree .H.E. All prices include shipping and handling. LebanonPostcard will be responsible for sending the packages you order, at your charge, through the service D.H.L. / E.M.S. with tracking number code guaranteeing reception of the package.
We ship as soon as possible, but within maximum 4 days after the order is received.
Credit cards are not charged until we actually ship the items. The items may take between one and six days to arrive, according to the country they are sent to.
Packages are sent with track code to guarantee reception, and delay is rare. In the event of non-delivery or delay, nothing can be done for 7 days. At the end of this period, on our being informed, a demand will be made for the package to be traced. If 14 days after the first dispatch there is still no delivery, a second package will be sent free.
Packages inside Lebanon are sent registered through LibanPost to guarantee reception, and delay or non-delivery is rare. In the event of non-delivery, nothing can be done for 6 days. At the end of this period, on our being informed, a demand will be made to LibanPost for the package to be traced. If 12 days after the first dispatch there is still no delivery, a second package will be sent free.
