When she noticed that many things she found beautiful, sad, funny, or moving in Beirut were threatened to disappear, Marie-Noëlle Fattal decided to create Beirut Footsteps using social media. This photography book features a selection of her Instagram posts where she shares her pictures of the city, “a city of confusion, contrasts, extremes…” It is also her own personal tribute to simply say: “Beirut, I love you.”
En constatant que beaucoup de choses belles, tristes, drôles ou émouvantes menacaient de disparaître, Marie-Noëlle Fattal décide de créer Beirut Footsteps sur les réseaux sociaux dans le but de conserver une trace. Ce livre de photos est composé d’une sélection de ses photographies postées sur son compte Instagram sur lequel elle partage ses images d’une ville “de confusions, de contrastes, d’extrêmes…” C’est aussi un hommage très personnel à sa ville, Beyrouth.
