يجد القارئ في هذا الكتاب عرضاً شاملاً ، بالصور والشروح ، لمختلف مراحل حياة شهيد الشهداء ، فخامة الرئيس المُنتَخَبُ الشيخ بشير بيار الجميل ، وَسَردًا مُقْتَضَباً لبعض انجازاته ، هذان العرض و السردُ يُسهمان في تكوين فكرة ، و إن محض تمهيدية، لهذه الظاهرة الفريدة في تاريخ لبنان المعاصرة التي اسمُها بشير الجميل . وَلا إخالُ احدا تسنّى له أن يعرف الشيخ بشير شخصيا ويدرك شيئاً عَن ارضيات نشأته والظروف التي لابست حياته القصيرة الحافلة كُلَّها، خاصة في سنواتها السبع الأخيرة ، وينعم النظر في مواقفه الأساسيّة المحفوظة صوتيا وتدوينيّاً ، لا ينتهي إلى القناعة الكلية بأننا أمام ظاهرة من أروع الظاهرات الكلاسيكيّة وأعظمها . فليس بالأمر العادي البسيط أن تتحدى شابا مشاكل وصعاب متعددة الجوانب والأبعاد ، من داخل لبنان و من خارجه ، في لحظة تاريخية ما أشدَّها تعقيدًا وتشابكا ، لبنانياً واقليميا ودوليا ، و أن يصمد في وجهها كلها، ويتغلب عليها و يفوز أخيراً في سن الرابعة والثلاثين برئاسة جمهوريّة لبنان . بشير الجميّل حدث حقيقي ، غير أنه من الغرابة بحيث يكاد لا يُصدق ، فيجنح العقل الى اعتباره مجرد أسطورة ، لكنه ليس باسطورة إغريقية بَل حدث وقع بالفعل ودَخَلَ في صلب لحمة التاريخ .
يحتوي تراث الشيخ بشير على مؤسسات وهيئات عدة أسسها هو . وفي سياق هذا الكتاب يجد القارئ وصفا لهذه الانجازات العشرة . واهمها بكل تأكيد القوات اللبنانية. تدين القوات اللبنانية بكل شيء تقريبا لمؤسسها ، هو تصوَّرَهَا ، وهو نَظمَهَا ، وهو اختار معاونيه فيها، وهو كون كادراتها ، وهو بث روحه فيها، وهو أعطاها وهجها وتطلعاتها وامانيها . سَلْها من اين نبعَت ، تُحبُكَ من بشير الجميل .
ما هو سر نجاح تلك المؤسسات الذي ادهش العالم ؟ هو الاحلامُ الكبيرة التي كان يحلمها الشيخ بشير، هو وضوح الرؤيا لديه والهدف هو التخطيط الجري البعيد المدى ، هو الشجاعة والإقدام والنضحية ونكران الذات التي تحلّى بها، هو الثقة بالنفس التي تغلبت على أي خوف ، هو لحمة الرفقاء المتراصة المتماسكة، هو انضباطية الرفقاء بالنسبة للقائد هو القيادة المصمّمة الحازمة ، هو نظافة اليد، هو بكلمة واحدة ، بشير الجميّل ،ذاته شخصًا وكياناً وروحا ، وهذه الصفات لا تنتقل بالتعلم النظري كالرياضيات ، بل بالعدوى الحياتية. وبقدر ما أعْدَى بشير رُفقاءه واتباعه بها ، صاروها في كيانهم .

All prices include shipping and handling. LebanonPostcard will be responsible for sending the packages you order, at your charge, through the service D.H.L. / E.M.S. with tracking number code guaranteeing reception of the package.
We ship as soon as possible, but within maximum 4 days after the order is received.
Credit cards are not charged until we actually ship the items. The items may take between one and six days to arrive, according to the country they are sent to.
Packages are sent with track code to guarantee reception, and delay is rare. In the event of non-delivery or delay, nothing can be done for 7 days. At the end of this period, on our being informed, a demand will be made for the package to be traced. If 14 days after the first dispatch there is still no delivery, a second package will be sent free.
Packages inside Lebanon are sent registered through LibanPost to guarantee reception, and delay or non-delivery is rare. In the event of non-delivery, nothing can be done for 6 days. At the end of this period, on our being informed, a demand will be made to LibanPost for the package to be traced.
