About the author:
Paul Andary was born on 7 January 1958 in Abdin, Bsharre district, in North Lebanon. He attended Tourza primary school and secondary schools in Kfarhata (Koura), Zgharta, and Jdeide (Beirut). He earned an accounting degree in 1977 from Centre Libanais and a law degree in 1983 from the Lebanese University, Jal El Dib. He took four years of religious studies at Université Saint Esprit Kaslik starting in 1991. He worked mainly in teaching and in human resources. He is a member of several organizations and the founding member of Commutée Chemain Neuf, Famille Saint Charbel, and Lebanon the Message. He has been a member of the Lebanese Forces since 1975 and a responsible official since 1980. He participated in most battles of the Lebanese civil war, including Koura (1976), Ashrafieh (1978), Qnat (1980), and the Mountain (1983). He wrote a book about his experience during the conflict between the Christians and the Druze in southern Mount Lebanon in 1983. This book is called Al-Jabal, Haqiqa la Tarham in Arabic and has been translated to English and titled War of the Mountain: Israelis, Christians and Druze in the 1983 Mount Lebanon Conflict Through the Eyes of a Lebanese Forces Fighter.

صدق الشهادة في عفويتها وانبجاسها مِنَ الأعماق.
فحيث تشعر شعوراً أحشائياً أن لا تكلُّف في الشهادة، ولا تَصَنُّع، ولا تنميق، ولا ادعاء، ولا استعلاء، ولا تمنين، ولا إيحاءات مُبهَمَة، قُلْ إِنَّ الشاهد أخَذَ على عاتِقِهِ الحقيقة، كل الحقيقة، ولا شيء إلا الحقيقة.
وحقيقة الشاهد ليس الحقيقة اللاشخصية الحقيقة العامة. الباردة، حقيقة لا أحد. كلا! إنها حقيقته هُوَ . معاناته. إحساسه. إدراكه. إنفعاله. مراميه مساعيه. خَوفُهُ. اعتزازه. إحباطه … إنَّها الحقيقة التي لا تبدها حقيقةً أخرى، ولا تنقضها، ولا تقدر أن تدلّ فيها على زلل.
صفات هذه الحقيقة ومواصفاتها تتسَلَّلُ إلى قلبكَ وعَقلِكَ وأنتَ تلتهم “هذه شهادتي”.
وشهادة بول عنداري هي في الواقع، أكثر من شهادة، وأكثر من صرخة تُجلجل في الضمير. إنَّها رواية حَيَّة لحقبة من صراع المسيحيين مع الحياة.
فإن أنتَ وَاكَبْتَ هذه الحقيقة، مُلتزماً وفاعلاً وخائضاً معارِكَها عِشتها ثانية في أعماقها وأبعادها، وحلوها ومرها، وشَرَفها ويؤسِها، واسترجعت أحداثها مترابطة متوالدة مُفَسِّرة بعضها بعضاً، ومُؤكَّدة لك العبر التي سَبَقَ لكَ واستخلصتها.
وإنْ كُنتَ مِمَّن حال طالعهم من أن يكونَ مِنْ بين الذين ساهموا فيها، وخاضوا غمارها، ولفّهُم غُبارَها، ونَضَجَ منهم عَرَقها، وسَالَ منهم دمّ يروي أرضنا المقدّسة، ويروي حكاية معاندة القدر، فإنَّكَ ستركَعُ مُصَلِّياً، خاشِعاً أمامَ تضحياتِ مَنْ تَشَرَّفوا بالشهادةِ.
ألا بُورِك وجدان مَنْ عَبَّر. وعُوفِيَتْ يَدُ مَنْ سَطَّرَ . فَبِمثل صاحبهما يُكتب لنا البقاء. ومن دروسه تتربى الأجيال. وعلى صلابته تقوم الحرية.

All prices include shipping and handling. LebanonPostcard will be responsible for sending the packages you order, at your charge, through the service D.H.L. / E.M.S. with tracking number code guaranteeing reception of the package.
We ship as soon as possible, but within maximum 4 days after the order is received.
Credit cards are not charged until we actually ship the items. The items may take between one and six days to arrive, according to the country they are sent to.
Packages are sent with track code to guarantee reception, and delay is rare. In the event of non-delivery or delay, nothing can be done for 7 days. At the end of this period, on our being informed, a demand will be made for the package to be traced. If 14 days after the first dispatch there is still no delivery, a second package will be sent free.
Packages inside Lebanon are sent registered through LibanPost to guarantee reception, and delay or non-delivery is rare. In the event of non-delivery, nothing can be done for 6 days. At the end of this period, on our being informed, a demand will be made to LibanPost for the package to be traced. If 12 days after the first dispatch there is still no delivery, a second package will be sent free.
